Gen Hokuto no Ken: Seikimatsu Kyūseishu Densetsu

This HnK video game was one of the earliest titles for SEGA's Mega Drive (Genesis in the USA) system and like many of the early games available for it, it sucked. Repetitive gameplay, sloppy collision detection and poor music were just some of the problems this game has. Developed by SEGA, it was released in 1989 and can be seen as a sort of sequel to their earlier game for their 8-bit machine, with it having similar gameplay. In it, the player takes control of Kenshiro and has to defeat various enemies and bosses, meeting and fighting characters such as Solia, Falco, Han and Kaioh. Despite being called simply "Hokuto no Ken" the game is clearly set during the Hokuto no Ken 2 storyline. The game is also available on the Wii's Virtual Console service, although only in Japan.
