After making a few RPG games, Toei tried something new with Hokuto no Ken 6,
which was released in November of 1992. Again only available on the
Super Famicom, and again only released in Japan, this game is a one on
one fighter, a genre which had exploded in popularity at the time thanks
to Capcom's Street Fighter II.
Which most people would think was a good move, as making a Hokuto no Ken
fighting game shouldn't be too hard to screw up, right? Sadly this is
another poor game in the series, with choppy animation, lack of moves,
dull colors, forgettable music and more.
